About Us

Jericho and Damascus Road Outreach, Inc. is a biblical-based organization that is working to build a fellowship with community organizations in Staunton, Virginia for the soul purpose of helping youthful non-violent ex-offenders, ages 16-25, transition to more responsible, productive lives.

We aim to provide our youth and young adults with safe and acceptable place where we can help train, educate, and inspire them to re-evaluate their choices and change their life values. On the Jericho & Damascus Road Experience, we will travel with our youth and young adults on a journey in which they will not be judged on their past mistakes, but will be challenged to discover and nurture their talents and gifts and to become good and productive citizens who will help make our community a better place to live and work.

We aim to accomplish these goals through a comprehensive re-entry program of job training and work experience in our restaurant and life-skills training in our classrooms and group sessions. Although our job program will initially focus on the food service industry, we plan to expand our job training opportunities as we grow.

Some of our programs will also be open to older ex-offenders who need help getting their lives back on track.
